Changrong Ge is a Senior Research Scientist at Vacara, where his work focuses on protein engineering, bioinformatics and biostatistics in support of the company's research and development programs. He combines hands-on protein design and structure-based modeling — including AI-driven approaches to protein structure prediction and engineering — with large-scale omics analysis and rigorous statistical interpretation of experimental and translational data. He holds a PhD in biochemistry and biophysics and brings more than fifteen years of experience spanning academic research and the pharmaceutical industry. His scientific background covers antibody and antigen biology, structural biology, and the molecular mechanisms of autoimmune and inflammatory disease, complemented by extensive experience building reproducible computational workflows.
